I’m a software engineer by day who’s always had a passion for encouraging people and their potential, and (like you) I’ve personally experienced the feelings of restlessness that can come from feeling like you’re not pursuing your calling or living out your purpose – or as I like to call it, “living life on purpose.” In my early 20’s I felt stressed in my job, lost in my life, and I didn’t feel a genuine sense of joy or authenticity day-to-day. After talking to my other friends in their 20’s, I realized that I was one of many quietly experiencing the same existential crisis: we were all living the life that was expected of us, not the one we’d wanted for ourselves.
I decided then and there that I wanted to become an active participant in my own life, so I spent the next year exploring the topics of vulnerability, authenticity, resilience, and what it takes to step out of your own way, decide what you want, and feel truly fulfilled day-to-day. Life began to open up for me and I started to share what I’d learned, when one suggestion from a friend changed everything…
“You should become a life coach.”
Looking back, it was an eye-opening, defining moment for me… and sometime later, here we are! I left my stressful job and am now happily working as a software engineer at a new company, and I’m also a certified Life Coach working part-time to help young professionals get out of the same rut I was in. My goal is to help you find and align your purpose with your career and personal goals, so that you can live your life feeling fulfilled, authentic, and intentional with your time and energy. And while your ideal life and career path may sound unconventional to others, you’ll have to ask yourself: At the end of your one life, what will matter most to you? Having successfully lived based on other people’s expectations and assumptions of you? Or having lived a beautiful, adventurous life that honored your purpose, joy, and true self every single day? The time to start living your best life is now.

FAQs
What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist?
On the surface, life coaching and therapy may seem very similar, but in most ways they are vastly different! Life coaching and therapy sessions do tend to follow a similar free-flowing, inquisitive structure, but therapy tends to focus more on healing from your past while life coaching fully focuses on meeting you where you’re at so that you can achieve your goals.
While life coaching may occasionally delve into your past in order to address potentially limiting beliefs, past experiences, etc., it is to help unblock you from meeting your current goals, not to attempt to relive or heal past trauma (which life coaches are not qualified or legally allowed to do). In fact, if you’re currently in therapy, I would advise that you first discuss with your therapist whether adding a life coach to your life could be beneficial for you! But for many, life coaching is the perfect intersection of self-discovery and goal-setting without the more emotionally charged aspects of conventional therapy.
Why is it important for a life coach to be certified through an ICF-accredited program?
Life coaching is currently an unregulated industry, meaning that (in theory) anyone can call themselves a life coach. Luckily, an organization called the International Coaching Federation is paving the way toward standardized and regulated life coaching certifications across the globe. This means that when you see that a life coach like myself has been certified through an ICF-accredited program, you can be confident that they have been given the proper skills, training, and ethical foundations that make them a great potential life coach for you! What is involved in a typical life coaching session?
At its core, a life coaching session is about focusing on a goal and moving toward it with intention, but it’s also about connecting with your coach and (ultimately) yourself! During each of my sessions, we’ll meet for 30, 45, or 60 minutes over Google meet (cameras off and audio only) in an effort to know you and your goal inside and out, and then we’ll aim to end the session with a new understanding and a committed step toward your goal. Whether you need encouragement, accountability, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, our time together will leave you feeling motivated, confident, and empowered to take those next steps in your life, no matter how big or small they might be.

What are your pricing rates?
I believe price-transparency is important not only because I believe in the value of my coaching, but I also believe that the right clients are those who will see its value, too, as the investment in their future that it truly is. I currently offer session packages as low as $120 per month (for bi-weekly 30-minute sessions) up to $480 per month (for weekly 60-minute sessions), depending on your budget and schedule.
Would you prefer to meet twice per week? Or does meeting for 45-minutes biweekly make more sense for you? Regardless of your preference, we can work out an option that works for you.
