Is it hard to open up to people because they do not understand your depression? There is a lot of confusion about what it is and what it is not. I share things really easily. I don’t know why it is really easy for me to share. I don’t have that need to feel safe. I guess I am comfortable with who I am.
BUT
I did say the wrong thing once. And my best friend said that I was being influenced by the devil. I am not. Depression or anxiety or anything similar has nothing to do with being possessed. Ever since I have been very guarded with what I share with her.
Maybe you all feel that way. Do you feel guarded because you feel you will be thought of in a negative light? That is a legitimate fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
