That is called <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-contrast-color\"><strong><em>Toxic Positivity,<\/em><\/strong><\/mark> and we don&#8217;t do that here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this debut episode of the <em>Said and Done with Michael Said Podcast<\/em>, we are moving from &#8220;Couch Life&#8221; to &#8220;Life Coach.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need to be honest: For those of us with <mark style=\"color:#0080e5\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><em><strong>ADHD<\/strong><\/em><\/mark> or busy brains, our minds are <strong><em><mark style=\"color:#e00000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">hardwired to look for problems. It\u2019s a survival mechanism.<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here is the truth: <strong><em><mark style=\"color:#0068d6\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Gratitude isn&#8217;t a mood you wait for. It is a tool you use.<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><mark style=\"color:#009c2c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">When you are in a hole, you don&#8217;t wait to feel like climbing out. You grab a ladder. Your challenge for this week is simple, low-stakes, and high-impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>\ud83d\ude80 <mark style=\"color:#009d07\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Challenge: The Gratitude Grenade<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3f52094e0eff1ce36e05d92c7829c1f7\" style=\"color:#005cc9\">Take out your phone right now.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d9b25ad562fbd3141cc587b67e8eef8a\" style=\"color:#005cc9\">Scroll to a contact you haven&#8217;t spoken to in at least 6 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c4ff50c7046868c959b4ce866cbbecfa\" style=\"color:#005cc9\">Send them this text: <em>&#8220;Hey, I was just thinking about you and realized I never told you how much I appreciated [Specific Memory].
